I believe technology is most powerful when it is designed to genuinely help people.

My work focuses on using AI-driven systems, conversational AI, and LLM-based technologies to support people in real-world healthcare situations. I care about building technology that makes health guidance clearer, more personalized, and easier to act on, especially when people are making important decisions about their care.

I work at the intersection of human–AI interaction, digital health, and applied research, with experience designing and evaluating conversational agents, AI-driven health education systems, and personalized patient-facing tools. My goal is to move AI beyond technical novelty toward practical, human-centered solutions that improve understanding, build trust, increase access, and support meaningful action.

Patient education materials describing medical conditions or procedures are ubiquitous in healthcare, and their creation and dissemination comprise large industries. While advances have been made in retrieving these materials, medical illustrations—pervasive components of patient education—have largely defied empirical study and innovation.
